The Biden administration has given a green light to Iberdrola SA's plan for a major offshore wind development south of Martha’s Vineyard. Avangrid Inc.’s New England Wind project, expected to produce 2.6 gigawatts of electricity, has been approved by the Interior Department. This will provide power for over 900,000 homes and will be located around 20 nautical miles south of Massachusetts's holiday destination.
