Instagram is reported to be developing a new feature called 'Blend' that would create a personalized feed of Reels for users and their friends. This feature, first discovered by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, would generate a private feed of Reels recommended based on the Reels shared between you and a friend, as well as your Reels interests. Similar to Spotify's 'Blend' functionality, this feature aims to promote collaboration and discovery. If released, Blend could give Instagram a competitive edge over TikTok in the short-form video market.
