Instagram Introduces Private 'Blend' Feature for Shared Reels

Instagram is reportedly testing a new feature called 'Blend' that creates a private Reel feed for sharing videos with a friend. The feature, first discovered by a reverse engineer and later confirmed by the company, shows Reels recommendations based on shared Reels and interests. Users can invite friends into a Blend, and the feed remains private to the two of them. The feature is designed to be more proactive about sharing and to allow people to discover viral Reels together. Currently being tested internally, there's no word on when the feature might become available publicly.
